In Fall semester of 2022 I completed a class called Non-Profit Management. As part of the class we were tasked with answering one of the more difficult questions related to the industry. How do you measure success within the company? For this assignment we were asked not only to make observations about how this question might be answered but to do a thorough investigation into the organization, what the problem they were trying to tackle was, how they and their competitors already measured success, the financial performance of the business as well as a range of other characteristics.

This research project was done over the course of the semester and forced us to take a multifaceted approach to the questions that we were being asked. More specifically completing this project helped me to learn more about the attention to detail that one needs to be aware of in their research processes as well as how different mediums of data are crucial in the gaining of perspective. This project was one that was done when I was a sophomore and helped me to lay a great foundation of research skills that I have continued to add to.
